It is one of the most active volcanoes in Europe, but it also has interesting geological components and interesting landscape. For these reasons, UNESCO designated Etna as a World Heritage site in June 2013.
The tour starts from the highest Refuge on Etna which is surrounded by nature trails and stunning scenery, with the possibility of being accompanied by an expert guide.
At the end of the visit to the volcano we travel to Taormina and take a walk starting from the most important attraction of the town: the Greek Theatre built in 3rd century BC by Hieron ll of Syracuse and renovated and enlarged during the Roman period
Admission costs to the Theatre are 10 euro and 5 euro
We then continue to walk through the main street Corso Umberto until we reach Piazza lX Aprile, one of the most beautiful places of the town where you will be able to enjoy the wonderful panorama
