The “Vendicari Nature Reserve” is located in the province of Syracuse, between Noto and Marzamemi. Particularly important is the presence of marshes which serve as a resting place in the migration of birds. By observation huts you can see Flamingos, Herons and Storks which stop here before reaching their final migratory destination. Often you’ll find yourself in front of breathtaking landscapes, dense vegetation, blue sea and golden beaches.
The route will allow you to cross the Reserve and head to the beach of “Calamosche”, the most famous among the Reserve beaches. After a refreshing swim in its crystal waters, the route continues to the nearby town of “Marzamemi”. The town has become a fishing port and grew because of this. You can visit 2 companies which prepare the blue fin Tuna and taste their products such as “bottarga”, “ventresca” and many other delicacies. Today, the old village has been fully restored and hosts restaurants, bars and craft boutiques.
This tour, along with the others which belong to the “Typical week for the tourist”, is always available. The aim is to enable visitors to choose a tour for every day of their stay.
Possible pickup from other locations. The cost to pickup from your accommodation is dependent on the Hotel location.
